I discovered KAIN label last year, a LA based label with all their products designed and produced in LA.

I appreciate a crisp plain white tee on anyone. The first time you wear it after buying or washing it (oooh). I am constantly on the look out for the best plain white tee-shirt and nothing has beaten the Kain Pocket Tee in White. It is dry-clean only, call me crazy white t-shirts are serious business.

The pocket tee range is based on a vintage tee-shirt cut and drapes so well over the body. I appreciate good quality basics and unfortunately, these t-shirts aren't cheap. They aren't cotton either. At the moment, no one stocks the KAIN label in Melbourne which I find very surprising.

This is my new blog because I was sick of having to ctrl+D everything I liked. For those who don't know about 'Ctrl+D' its a keyboard shortcut for bookmarking a page. So I thought I would store all the information in a blog so that I can see where everything fits in neatly in space and time ...

First, I would like to post one of my favourite outfits that Christine Centenera (Fashion Editor for Harper's Bazaar) wore in Paris a few months ago. I thought I would post this to set the mood of the blog.

I am a marketing student, with a particular interest in digital marketing (online). I spend alot of my time browsing online stores and marketing blogs. I like knowing things and collecting information that is relevant. I called the blog thetrendhouse because I hope that one day I will open an online store - thetrendhouse.com.au but in the mean time I'll post my favourite stores (or least) and anything else I like.

I am mainly interested in the expansion of the online retail industry. Yes it's here and it's taking over a bricks-and-mortar store near you! Last year net-a-porter.com made over $180 million. Thats all.
